Misha McClure

Misha McClure is a born Strategist who believes building strong community collaborations is key for optimizing exposure to grow your personal and professional brands.

Misha has spent over eighteen years in the community relations and PR arena and currently leads all philanthropic giving and Digital Equity efforts as External Affairs Director for Comcast – Texas Region. McClure is a graduate of Comcast’s high potential development program: Developing a Leadership Mindset and the ENGAGE Leadership Development program. She was also selected and graduated from the WICT Inspire Mentor Program, an intensive and selective mentorship program of Women in Cable Telecommunications. One of her many accomplishments within Comcast was successfully launching the MyAbilities Employee Resource Group for the Texas Region, growing its membership base, and creating a plan for its future success.

Before joining Comcast in 2013, McClure was Community Relations Coordinator for The
Greensheet advertising publication, where she planned, organized, and executed large-scale events, partnered with Houston- area school districts, and developed deep connections in the community to curate promotional giveaways and grow awareness of The Greensheet brand.

McClure currently serves on the Easter Seals of Greater Houston and the Association for the Advancement of Mexican Americans Board of Directors. Other community service involvement – past and present – include Corporate Community Relations Council, Member (2022-2023); Public Relations Society of America – Houston Chapter, Member; National Association of Black Journalists, Member; Women in Cable Telecommunications Board Member (2018 – 2020); Greater Houston Partnership Young Professionals, Member (2017-2018); Houston Independent School District Community Advisory Committee (2017-2019); Women in Cable Telecommunications, Member; Texas Cable Association, Newsletter Committee (2018-2021); Houston Association of Black Journalists, Member(2023).

Misha has accomplished many accolades, but is most proud of her recognition at the 2018 Southern University Alumni Federation National Conference where she was honored for pushing the mission of the University, amongst others.

McClure was raised on a small farm in Springridge, Louisiana, and credits her upbringing for developing her character and instilling a commitment and passion for service. She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.


She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication from Southern University, Baton Rouge (2002), and currently resides in Houston with her husband, Rodrick McClure, and
son.
